New U18’s Youth Table Tennis Training Academy starts soon at the Pop in and Play Livingston.
This January 2023 sees volunteers from West Lothian Community Table Tennis Club launch the new Youth Table Tennis Training Academy at the Pop in and Play Livingston venue. The pop in and play is based at The Centre, Livingston. The coaching sessions will run weekly on Saturdays between 11.30 am – 1.00 pm.
A trial 8 week course covering all the basics to improve Table Tennis skills.
The weekly coaching sessions are volunteer led, by the West Lothian Community Table Tennis Club volunteers. The volunteers at the Pop in and Play, are a mix of Trustees and members, with decades of Table Tennis experience to pass on. The initial 8 week course will focus on basics. Course content will include how best to hold the bat, forehand, backhand and coaching throughout to improve table tennis skills, to get the most out of a game.

When will the Youth Academy start?
We plan to start the Academy Coaching Session ASAP and they will run weekly on Saturdays for 8 weeks. We want to gauge interest and numbers. So please contact us in the first instance.
How much will it cost?
The Academy is FREE to West Lothian Community Table Tennis Club membership. We ask for a small donation of £2.00 for non Junior Club members.

Can I come along with my young person and wait at the Venue?
Yes we encourage parents and carers to come along with their young people to the venue with them. You are very welcome to sit and wait on our comfy sofas at the venue. Or why not have a free game on one of the available table tennis tables? Table tennis is for all ages and abilities!
