Alicja, Dariusz and David enjoyed a fabulous 9-1 away victory against Fife recently that helps sustain their current position in the Premier League.
Alicia got things off to a flying start with a healthy 4-1 win against Grant Williams in the opening match. This was quickly followed by David winning his opening game in straight sets. Dariusz completed a clean sweep of opening matches with a very tightly contested 5 setter against Callum Riddoch.
Having won his first two sets, Dariusz found himself unexpectedly taken to a 5th and deciding set, but managed to exert control to see it out 11-4.
Thereafter, the team played some excellent table tennis to complete a very healthy 9-1 win away from home to keep them in 5th place in the Edinburgh Premier League.
